New Series...Trails and Transactions with Traci
Welcome to Trails & Transactions
Some of life's greatest lessons aren't learned in an office or around a conference table. They're found on quiet trails, beside mountain lakes, under star-filled skies, and in the peaceful places where cell service disappears and the rest of the world grows wonderfully quiet.
Nature has always been where I find my peace.
The smell of pine after a summer rain, the sound of leaves dancing in the wind, birds greeting a new morning, and wildflowers blooming where no one expects them—they remind me that I'm part of something much bigger than myself. Out there, I have the chance to unplug, reset, and simply breathe.
Ironically, after more than 25 years in real estate, I've realized that "home" isn't really about a house.
It's a feeling.
It's safety after a long day. Comfort on a rainy afternoon. Security for the people you love. It's the familiar sound of dogs greeting you at the door and gathering with your favorite people around the kitchen table. A house is where life happens, but home is what you feel when you're there.
Over the years, I've learned that people are the very best part of this profession. Every buyer and seller has a unique story. Sometimes buyers can describe exactly what they're looking for, and sometimes they can't. But after we've walked through a handful of homes together, something begins to click. I start to understand what they're searching for—not just in a house, but in a life. Often, it's something they couldn't quite put into words themselves.
That's what this series is about.
Trails & Transactions is where I'll share stories from America's national parks, camping trips, winding back roads, and unforgettable adventures. Each one has taught me something about patience, perspective, resilience, gratitude, or finding joy in unexpected places. Along the way, I'll connect those lessons to the journey of buying, selling, and finding a place to call home.
Because while every trail eventually comes to an end...
...the best adventures always lead us home.
I'm glad you're here. I hope you'll come along for the journey.
