Hutchinson-area festivals & big community events left in 2026

Aug. 20 — Third Thursday: Dog Days — Downtown Hutchinson. This is the one we just did.
Late Aug./Sept. — Kansas Maze Sunflower Festival — near Buhler. Dates can depend on bloom/weather conditions.
Sept. 11–20 — Kansas State Fair — Hutchinson. Definitely worth several posts rather than just one. The official 2026 dates are confirmed. (Visit Hutch)
Sept. 17 — September Third Thursday — Downtown Hutchinson. (Travel Kansas)
Oct. 2–3 — Hutchinson Downtown Rod Run — Downtown Hutchinson. (Travel Kansas)
Oct. 3 — Hutch Brewfest — Reno County Farmers Market Pavilion, 3–6 PM. (Visit Hutch)
Oct. 9–10 — FEEL FEST — Hutchinson. Two-day community festival with music, activities, workshops and a 3K run/walk. (Feel Fest)
Oct. 10 — Red Dirt & Diamonds Music Fest — East Gate Plaza. (Visit Hutch)
Oct. 15 — Third Thursday: Main Street Monster Mash — Downtown Hutchinson, 6–9 PM. Halloween-themed activities and downtown fun. (Visit Hutch)
Nov. 22 — Reno County Toy Run — Downtown Hutchinson. (Travel Kansas)
Dec. 5 — Light Up Hutch Christmas Parade & Festival — Downtown Hutchinson. A full day of holiday events culminating in the lighted Christmas parade. (Travel Kansas)
